There are alot of farmers here in Taylor and one of their main crops is Sweet Corn thus the festival. They start off with a parade then head to the Rodeo grounds for the festival, rodeo, and to buy and eat corn in every imaginable way of course. Papa Sam and Grandma Jeannine stopped by for the parade on their way to camp in Alpine. Right after the parade though, the skies opened and gave us a rather nasty rain storm. However, the people of Taylor don't let a little rain spoil their day. The festival went on under tents and so we took the kids over to see what it was like. I'm glad we did they had a blast even though it was wet and COLD!
